Viola von Cramon is a member of the German Parliament for the Green Party. Since 2004, she has been Speaker of the Provincial Groups of the Green Party for “Agriculture and Consumer Protection” as for “Europe and International Politics.”

From 2001 to 2006, she served as representative of the Green Party for the local and the district council and member of the district executive board of the Green Party. In 2004, she was on the Mission to Ukraine (Sevastopol, Crime) as an Election Observer, organized by the Ukrainian-Canadian Congress.

Viola von Cramon was born in Halle, Germany and studied agricultural economics at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, Germany. She is married, has four children and lives in Berlin.

Viola von Cramon-Taubadel will be in Washington, DC from October 18th to 19th, 2010 and in Philadelphia, PA from October 19th to 22nd, 2010 as part of the Bundestag to Battleground Program in cooperation with the Congressional Study Group on Germany.
