Adriana Loureiro Fernández is a Venezuelan photojournalist who focuses on human rights, conflict, and immigration. She has photographed the Venezuelan-Colombian border, gang-related violence in Long Island, and the ongoing Venezuelan protests against President Maduro. Nowadays, Adriana is working on a long-term project focusing on crimes against humanity in Venezuela. Her work has been featured by The New York TimesLos Angeles TimesTIMEThe Intercept and The New Yorker, among other outlets. She won Ian Parry’s Highly Commended Award in 2017. Adriana holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, where she was a fellow at the Global Migration Program.
