Robert Habeck speaks at Georgetown University
Robert Habeck, co-chair of the German Green Party (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) will share his vision for the future of the European Union. He will address the political challenges the EU is facing in the era of great power competition, and a changing global order. He will discuss pathways to strengthen the EU internally, and to increase its capacity as a regional and global actor. Specifically, he will emphasize how the EU can succeed domestically and play a leading role internationally in the fight against climate change, in managing the digital transformation of our economies, and in preserving and strengthening liberal democracy at home and abroad.
