Deborah Düring

Deborah Düring has been a member of the German Bundestag since October 2021 and is the spokesperson for development policy for the Green parliamentary group in the Bundestag. She has a degree (B.A.) in social sciences and has been studying the master's program "International Studies / Peace and Conflict Research" in cooperation with the Hessian Foundation for Peace and Conflict Research (HSFK) at the Goethe University Frankfurt and at the TU Darmstadt since 2018. In addition to her studies, she worked for the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) in the field of development cooperation and for the non-governmental organization Survival International. Ms. Düring lived and studied in Latin America for several years, including a voluntary social year in an indigenous community in Costa Rica and a semester abroad in Peru.
