Joan Kloepfer has served as Finance Manager of the Foundation’s Washington, DC, office since 1998. She oversees our financial interactions with project partners and other entities in the public and private sectors. In broad terms, Joan is responsible for ensuring the Foundation’s compliance with the requirements of our funding organizations. She is more than happy to answer any questions people might have about these requirements or any other aspect of our project funding.
Joan holds an M.A. in Soviet Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in German Studies from Oberlin College.
