Our Brussels office represents the Heinrich Böll Foundation in relation to European and international institutions, associations, non-governmental organisations, and media based in Brussels and Luxembourg. Main areas of activity are the EU’s common foreign and security policy, along with energy and climate policy, and the promotion of democracy and human rights.

The Brussels office works in close collaboration with our other offices, emphasising the European vantage point of our activities. In addition, the office is a main point of contact for politically interested individuals from Europe and around the world, helping people to understand the workings of European politics and exemplifying avenues for actual political involvement.
