Feminist Foreign and Development Policy Fellowship at the CSW68
The Washington DC office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, the German Green political foundation, is pleased to announce its second iteration of the Feminist Foreign and Development Policy Fellowship. With this program, we aim to help realize an intersectional feminist foreign and development policy that benefits countries in the Global North and Global South. By providing space, access and experience in the realm of international institutions and politics to young feminists from across the globe, our Foundation hopes to use its leverage and connect young underrepresented voices to relevant decision-makers.
For this year’s FFDP Fellowship, after a selection process involving more than 600 applications, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Washington, DC is supporting three outstanding young feminists from Algeria, Pakistan and Zambia in their participation at the 68th annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York. Before attending the official CSW events and all related side events at UN HQ, the fellows will prepare their own interventions in virtual sessions. During the CSW, we have planned several bilateral and multilateral meetings with UN staff, the Permanent Mission of Germany to the UN, and civil society partners.
