Christoph Mayer is a project officer at Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung’s Asia division, where he is the liaison for their offices in Beijing and Hong Kong. He works on topics  including digital governance, privacy rights, and the intersection between digitalization & sustainability. He holds a master's degree in war and conflict studies from the University of Potsdam and the Universidad Autónoma in Madrid. During his studies, he went through working visits at the German Embassy in Washington D.C., the headquarters of the Foreign Office in Berlin, and spent a year abroad at National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
