Nikolai Horn is an expert on public sector digitalization and project coordinator in the field of data governance at the independent think tank iRights.Lab, where he has worked since May 2020. From 2018 until 2020, he was with one of the world's leading IT consultancies. Previously, he was responsible for conceptual content as a policy officer at the Stiftung Datenschutz.

He worked at the Institute for Public Law at the University of Bonn after completing his doctorate with an interdisciplinary thesis on the fundamental right of freedom of conscience.
