Katharina (born 1998) is studying Meteorology at the University of Hamburg and is working at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology. In that context, she is participating in the international field campaign EUREC⁴A among other things, studying tropical clouds and their impact on climate change. During an exchange semester, Katharina Stolla studied Arctic Climate Sciences in Svalbard where she organized climate strikes and worked together with local climate activists.
Katharina is working with "Action Reconciliation/Service For Peace" on peace education and Holocaust remembrance since she did a volunteering service in a Belgian museum on Holocaust and human rights, working with school groups and people with migration background in particular. She is an active member of Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN and its youth organization GRÜNE JUGEND, was member of the executive committee in Hamburg and is still member of several committees on state and federal level.
