Working on the interface between technology and policy, Nils is responsible for intelligent mobility at Bitkom, Germany’s digital trade association. In his role, Nils drives forward the digital transformation of the mobility market, fostering cross-industry exchanges and promoting innovative regulatory frameworks. Connecting the interests of tech companies, public transport providers, OEMs, and startups, he covers issues ranging from multimodal mobility over intelligent infrastructure to data sharing. Prior to joining Bitkom, Nils gained experience working for an automotive manufacturer, a global public affairs consultancy as well as a shipping company. He studied International Relations and Public Policy in The Netherlands, South Africa, Hungary and Spain.
