Meral Kaufmann currently serves as a Chief of Staff in the German Bundestag. Before, she worked as senior advisor on science and education policy for current Ministers Robert Habeck and Annalena Baerbock and served as an advisor in the German Bundestag. Prior, Meral served the German Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as a policy analyst for gender equality and the future of work. Meral Kaufmann holds a Master in Public Policy from Hertie School, Berlin and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Sociology from University of Basel.
