Anna Bruckner has been engaged in the union movement since the age of 12, when she started to organize a students’ union. Since then, her aim is to contribute to a more just work place, education and society. Since her youth, Anna had an interest to look at the links of the labor movement and the climate justice movement, both internationally and at the work place. She is interested in the power of codetermination of workers to achieve just transition. Anna received a BA degree in International Development, a MA in Urban Studies, and an MSc in Sustainable Development Studies and Public Planning.
After many years in the workers youth movement and lots of international experience, the Austrian citizen will contribute her experience in the Strategy's Department of the German Trade Confederation (DGB), the umbrella organization of German unions of almost 6 million members.
