Bakir Lemes is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at the Technical University Munich, where his passion lies in the field of Political Theory.

Since moving to Germany at the age of 16, he has been deeply committed to advocating for the rights of migrant communities and promoting integration. As the youngest member of the Migration Advisory Board of the City of Munich, he represents the rights of the migrant population within the city government.

Furthermore, Bakir dedicates his time to returning to Mostar, Bosnia, every year to teach Politics and Government at the Mostar Summer Youth Program summer school. There, children of different ethnicities come together to learn, fostering unity and understanding in post-war Bosnia. Bakir's commitment to giving back to his homeland and shaping better future generations is his driving passion.

Bakir is an active member of the Green Party and the Green Youth Munich, as well as a dedicated participant and organizer within the European Youth Parliament.
