
Brendan O’Donnell is the Foundation’s Climate and Environment Policy Program Director since February 2025. He brings to the Foundation more than a decade of experience working to bring new communities and ways of knowing to transatlantic and global environmental policy discourse. He has published on a variety of topics including low-carbon energy security, Arctic sustainable development, and ESG investing.
Just for fun, Brendan leads the Biomimicry Youth Design Challenge, operates a summer camp on biodiversity and climate change in Mississippi, and hosts regular Baroque opera radio broadcasts. He holds a master’s degree in art history, specializing in conceptual art from the Arctic.
