Carolina Aylwin Valera is a political scientist who recently graduated from Universidad Catόlica de Chile with a master in public policy. Throughout her studies, Carolina was involved with student politics and headed the gender committee of her university. She has been working in the field of education, in a foundation called Enseña Chile, which is part of the international network Teach For All (TFA), present in 63 countries. During an internship at the United Nations, Carolina worked for the Chilean Embassy to the UN in the area of human rights, where she participated in and contributed to the 63rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 63). Carolina has co-authored a number of papers on feminism and human rights and is passionate about advancing a feminist agenda in Chile.
