Erica Peterson is the Environment Reporter for WFPL, Louisville's public radio station. Erica has a bachelor's degree from Carleton College, and a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.

Erica used her fellowship to report about Germany’s energy mix and how a country that is both a traditional producer of coal and a global leader in renewable energy can be a relevant case study to Kentuckians contemplating the state’s energy future. Her work on the 5-part series "From Bundestag to Bluegrass" won the prestigious Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for best news series.

This fellowship was part of the EU funded Transatlantic Energy and Climate Network project.
