Eva Mahnke studied philosophy, political science, and economics in Leipzig and Budapest (class of 1980). After a short excursion working in public relations for renewable energy, she joined Klimaretter (a German climate-focused publication) as a journalist. Her work as also been published in the Deutsche Welle, the Frankfurter Rundschau, on freitag.de and in neues deutschland.
