Florian Kommer is Deputy Chief of Staff for the Minister of State for  Europe and Climate in the German State Department. Before, he led the office of MP Franziska Brantner, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Spokeswoman for European Affairs of the Green party. He has been working for the Heinrich Böll Foundation for several years as policy advisor for the president and in the EU/North America and North Africa teams. He was a trainee with the European Commission in Brussels. Florian Kommer studied Politics, Economics and Philosophy in Hamburg, Istanbul and Passau.
