Franziska is project manager and person in chief for parking management and urban labs at Planersocietaet. She studied Geography and Urban Planning at Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg as well at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In her dissertation on mobility and parking in urban neighborhoods at Goethe University Frankfurt she analyzed the acceptance of parking policy regulations among residents in an urban neighborhood. Prior to Planersocietaet. Franziska worked as an external consultant for the German National Railway Company Deutsche Bahn.
Franziska is one of the panel members of Pegasus, which is a network for scientists and professionals in the field of urban and transportation planning (Pegasus-Netzwerk für Mobilitaets- und Verkehrsforschung).
