Geraldine de Bastion is a political scientist working on topics at the intersection of digital transformation, international cooperation, innovation, and human rights. In 2013, Geraldine co-founded Konnektiv, a Berlin-based agency working with a large network of experts around the world to advise public sector institutions on digitalization topics. Konnektiv has a strong focus on development cooperation, future of education, future of work and digital justice and offers consultancy services from conducting studies, evaluations, project design and management to Open Source tech services. Geraldine is also the founder of the Global Innovation Gathering (GIG), a network of grassroots and community innovation spaces, innovators and makers. Geraldine is a regular keynote speaker, moderator and author of publications on politics and digitalization. In 2018, she organized the first re:publica in Accra, Ghana and authored and moderated the documentary „Digital Africa“ for Arte.
