
Gunel Madadli holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in International Affairs, an additional Master’s in International Security, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science with a focus on Feminist Foreign Policy. Specializing in the South Caucasus region, particularly Georgia, she had conducted field research on Georgian foreign policy, which has included two internships at PMC Research Center and ISET Policy Center in Tbilisi. Additionally, a research visit to the University of Gothenburg allowed her to delve deeper into the Swedish model of Feminist Foreign Policy. Her research interests encompass gender in foreign policy decision-making, feminist approaches to migration, conflict resolution, international partnership strategies, and the ethical dimensions of feminist foreign policy.
