Jason C. Moyer is the Foreign & Security Policy Program Director at the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Washington DC. The program focuses on strengthening transatlantic exchanges on issues of global peace & security, climate security, and human security.
Previously, Jason was a program associate at the Wilson Center’s Global Europe Program and before that he worked at Johns Hopkins SAIS at the Center for Transatlantic Relations. He has authored more than 50 articles on contemporary transatlantic relations, with a focus on NATO, the EU as a security actor, hybrid warfare, and Arctic geopolitics.
He holds a Master's degree in German & European Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Before pursuing his Master's, Jason taught English in South Korea for two years through the Korean Ministry of Education. He lives in Alexandria with his wife and their rescue dog, Nori.
