Jonas Borgmeier is the Head of Communications and Policy Advisor to Anna Lührmann, Member of the German Bundestag and deputy chair of the committee on digital transformation. Specializing in digital and European policy, strategic communications, and progressive political advocacy, Jonas advises Lührmann on sustainable digital transformation, disinformation resilience, and tech governance. With a passion for strategic communication and political advocacy, Jonas designs and implements multi-platform campaigns that engage diverse audiences and amplify the impact of progressive ideas. His work spans local, national, and European levels, contributing to the mission of the German Green Party and fostering transatlantic dialogue on shared challenges. Jonas holds master’s degrees in international relations and European Studies from universities in Prague (CZ), Trento (IT), and Maastricht (NL), and an integrated bachelor’s degree in business administration, completed in partnership with the Volkswagen Group. His academic and professional journey reflects a commitment to bridging theory and practice in the pursuit of a more just and sustainable world.
