Maita has been with Agora Verkehrswende since 2020. She is responsible for Agora's activities around data and digitalization, in particular the analysis and processing of transportation and vehicle data.

Working with data at the crossroads of technology and society has been a key aspect of Maita’s career: Most recently, she coordinated the establishment of an online division for the Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP), a political science research institute at Vanderbilt University. Prior to that, she worked as a management consultant for Digital McKinsey. She has also interned at the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), where she gained experience in transport policy.
