Maja is a social science undergraduate from the Humboldt University in Berlin and has started a postgraduate programme in Human Rights at the University of Vienna in October 2019. She is a scholar at the "Deutschlandstiftung Integration - Geh deinen Weg" and the project manager and treasurer at the Vienna based NGO the bridge, which tries to bridge the gap between academia and human rights practice. As an anti-racism trainer and a political educator, she touches upon the topic of intersectional feminism and allyship. Besides, she has gained experience in working for the migration council, in university politics and for various NGOs such as the Young Islam Conference.
