Noam Segal is a PhD candidate at the Porter School for Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University in Israel, and the co-founder and executive director of the Israel Energy Forum, an Israeli civil advocacy group in the field of energy, dedicated to securing a sustainable energy future for Israel. He holds an M.A. in Desert Studies (Environmental Policy) from the Albert Katz School of Environmental Studies program at the University of Negev in Israel and a B.Sc in Philosophy and Life Science from Tel Aviv University. Noam has been an environmental activist for over 15 years.
