Noel Quiñones is an AfroBoricua writer born and raised in the Bronx. He is a 2016 Emerging Poets Fellow at Poets House, 2015 Watering Hole Writers of Color Retreat Fellow, and 2015 John Russell Hayes Poetry Prize winner. Quiñones has spent almost a decade working as a teaching artist, slam coach, and youth development coordinator with artists of all ages across the globe. His performances have been featured on Button Poetry, Vibe, and Blavity.
