Phillip Käding has been Head of Economic and Financial Policy Division at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung since the beginning of 2024. In this role, he deals with a wide range of economic policy topics from the sustainable financial system to the industry of the future. His work in the department is shaped by the model of the ecological-social market economy.
Before joining the foundation, Phillip Käding worked as a project manager in sustainability consulting for municipal and private companies as well as in the financial sector. He studied political and economic sciences at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen and in Monterrey, Mexico, as well as development economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
