Pia Siemer is a science communication specialist with a background in journalism. She currently works as a science editor at the Else Frenkel-Brunswik Institute (EFBI) at Leipzig University. The EFBI was founded in the fall of 2020 to support civil society in Saxony. She is committed to transferring theoretical knowledge about democracy research into practice. Before joining EFBI, she worked as a journalist at the Leipziger Volkszeitung. She holds a Master in Journalism from the Leipzig University as well as a Bachelors in History and Politics from the University of Münster.
