Rebecca provides support for climate and energy activities at the Heinrich Boll Foundation North America, including, amongst others, the June 2016 transatlantic study tour “Engaging Coal Communities”, the Transatlantic Climate and Energy Media Fellowships, and the Energy Transition website. Prior to joining the Foundation, she conducted a 7-month research project in Germany on community energy transitions, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In 2014, she participated in the Collaborative for Island Energy Research and Action between Denmark and Maine where she worked on an island-wide energy transition feasibility study for Long Island, Maine. Rebecca holds a B.A. in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic, and is fluent in German, Spanish, and Mandarin.
