Roohullah Gulzari is a human rights activist and has worked on social development programs related to public sector education reform, rights of indigenous communities and countering violent extremism with USAID and Department for International Development (DFID). Originally from Pakistan, Roohullah holds Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and is currently a Master of Public Administration (MPA) candidate at the Central European University in Budapest. In 2015, for his contribution to human rights causes, he was among the 25 emerging leaders from South Asia to be awarded ‘Young Connectors of Future’ award by the Swedish Institute.
