
Soumya Mishra is a neuroqueer development sector professional and community builder, who is primarily interested in leveraging digital mediums to amplify marginalised voices, bridge existing gaps, and promote inclusivity and accessibility. Their work and approaches are informed by their lived experiences. Soumya has been a fellow with The Red Door and CREA; Oxfam in Asia and Asia Centre; and is a co-creator with the Feminist Young Leadership Programme under Gender at Work India and UN Women India. One of their standout personal projects is “Atypical Dikkatein,” a podcast chronicling the stories of queer-disabled folx in India, which has won prestigious awards like the Gender Bender Grant in 2023. The podcast was also featured at the Listening Station at the 15th AWID International Forum this year. Recently, Soumya represented India as a young, queer-disabled feminist activist at the World Social Forum 2024.
