Thalia Beaty is an independent radio reporter and producer. She works with programs like The Takeaway, which is a nationally syndicated news program. Previously, she has worked for the New York Times company and the Council on Foreign Relations as a researcher and fact-checker. In 2013, she received fellowships from New York University to complete a joint Master's in journalism and Middle East Studies.  Thalia used her hbs fellowship to report on refugee and asylum policy in Germany.
