Climate & Environmental Policy

The Energy & Environmental Policy Program works to advance a just and inclusive green transition. This means fighting climate change and systemic injustice, moving away from fossil fuels while leaving no community behind, and building a green economy that works for everyone. Environmental justice, inclusive governance, and democratic legitimacy are core tenets. We seek to advance these goals through exchange and dialogue in the form of publications, study tours, public events, and support for and cooperation with local civil society.

The Energy & Environmental Policy Program has a geographic focus on transatlantic work and brings together people at all levels of society in the US, Canada, Germany, and the EU.
