Feminist Foreign and Development Policy Fellowship at the CSW69

The Heinrich Böll Foundation, Washington, DC, is pleased to announce its third cohort of the Feminist Foreign and Development Policy Fellowship. Like last year, our program brings feminists from the Global South to the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York to advance intersectional gender policy that benefits the Global South and North. We aim to strategically connect younger underrepresented voices to relevant decision-makers with deep experience in international institutions.

After reviewing an extensive, competitive pool of applications, we have selected 11 outstanding feminists from around the world who will participate in the 69th Session of the CSW at the UN Headquarters. All of them are emerging or experienced leaders and activists working on feminist causes such as human rights, reproductive rights, or the climate crisis. Check out their profiles below.

Our fellows will attend official CSW events and related side events, engage with civil society partners and policy makers, and share their own insights with the cohort. Our program aims to amplify diverse perspectives and create meaningful dialogue at the intersection of feminist policy and global development. Make sure to follow along with us on social media, where we will provide updates along the way!
